GRIGORIAN + GUBENKO

Grigorian Gubenko Piano Duo was formed in 2016, on the first day of Piano Ensemble class at Saddleback College. Anna and Natasha clicked right away.

 

They had so many things in common, it seemed like that had known each other forever. They spoke the same language, they were trained in the same Russian piano school tradition, they both had moved to different countries and learned many languages in their lives, they both had busy teaching careers but yet, they both felt the need to get back into playing and performing. Grigorian and Gubenko were fortunate to receive encouragement, guidance and support of their professor Kirill Gliadkovsky, and their families and friends.

 

They feel blessed to be working as a team, exploring wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary piano ensemble works, and sharing it with their audiences.
